The artist paints on top of clear acrylic panel and suspends it several inches above the wall in order to cast shadows.

One of the artist’s favorite subjects, a found rock that she suspects is a fallen piece of iron ore, is abstracted. She plays with color and its layering effect on the surface of the panel.
